IndustrySmart is a new and innovative approach to ex-forces recruitment, training & development.
What's it all about?
IndustrySmart is a recruitment and development scheme established and operated by The Herne Group, focussed specifically on getting ex-forces and ex-service personnel into industry.
Our aim is to provide opportunity, support, training and mentorship to ex-military & ex-service leavers, looking to take up opportunities within industry organisations.
We recognise the immense amount of hard-earned and eminently transferrable skills that ex-forces & ex-service personnel leave their time with. Skills which you just don't get in industry, but which when applied with the right support and context, deliver an individual of unrivalled potential.
SCREEN & SELECT
We screen hundreds of ex-military & ex-service leavers, looking for the right balance of experience, qualifications & behaviours. We then undertake a semi-structured interview with identified candidates to find out more about them.
IDENTIFY IDEAL INDUSTRY OPPORTUNITIES
We work with some of the biggest and most driven industry organisations in the UK Nuclear, Engineering and Construction markets to find the ideal position for our IndustrySmart candidates.
MONITOR, MENTOR & DEVELOP
Once placed we regularly monitor candidate progress throughout their initial period. We have access to a broad mentoring network to provide advice, guidance and support throughout your first 2 years. We also offer bespoke training for candidates to continuously develop throughout the early stages of their new career.
